Young Adults/Teens
Whether you are a teen or a parent of a teen, I am happy you found this site. The late teenage and early adult years can prove to be emotionally exhausting. Friends change, friends change again, school gets harder, expectations get bigger, your relationship with parents and siblings gets funky... it’s easy to feel like nobody understands you. Moreover, it can feel like no one could possibly know what it’s like to be you.
If left ignored, these stressful situations can build on one another until suddenly you are too overwhelmed by emotion to get through the day the way you used to. Or maybe it’s just too exhausting to even think of getting through the day.
The good news is that this is not your fault, and the great news is that I may be able to help get you un-stuck from the grip of negative thoughts and emotions. I utilize aspects of evidence-based treatments to target patterns that keep you feeling stuck. My approach is one of void of judgment and full of acceptance.
